NOKERA is the largest technology-based platform for the serial construction of buildings using timber. Based on industrially manufactured system components, NOKERA designs and delivers multi-family residential buildings—particularly for social housing—as well as kindergartens and school buildings. These projects are realized quickly, cost-effectively, sustainably, with a high quality of living, and on a turnkey basis. In addition, façade elements can be developed for the serial refurbishment of residential properties.

In environmentally and climate-friendly timber construction, the company relies on its own in-house developments. NOKERA’s products enable innovative and architecturally sophisticated buildings with an exemplary CO₂ footprint.

The company employs more than 4,000 people across four production sites in Germany.

Jochen Baumann

Managing Director

Jochen Baumann joined Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in 1997 and became a Managing Director in 2005.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Passau, and also studied at the Lund University. Prior to his university education, he completed a bank apprenticeship.

Jochen Baumann has 28 years of experience in private equity. He is also a member of the advisory councils at the portfolio companies in which DBAG invested under his management. His focus includes the implementation of buy-and-build concepts, such as those installed at ProXES, Romaco and Unser Heimatbäcker. He has in-depth knowledge of the packaging industry and special expertise in the food sector as well as in mechanical and plant engineering.
