freiheit.com technologies was founded in 1999 by Claudia Dietze and Stefan Richter in Hamburg. The company is a pioneer in the development of very large software systems based on Internet technologies. freiheit.com is known for technical excellence and extreme reliability. Its customers, most of whom have been with the company for many years, include large corporations and medium-sized companies such as Daimler, METRO and Tchibo. freiheit.com helps them implement complex projects to shape the digital transformation of their business models. The spectrum ranges from B2C and B2B e-commerce platforms in the food and non-food sectors to applications for connected cars such as music streaming in cars to cloud platforms for the management of dental practices and medical devices and AI applications in the health care sector. 

In recent years, the company has grown strongly. freiheit.com employs around 150 people from all over the world at its locations in Hamburg and Lisbon. More than 85 per cent of the employees are software engineers with an academic background in computer science, mathematics or physics, who are among the top 5 per cent of graduates in their year.
