PM Plastic Materials is exemplary for the traditional and successful industrial landscape of Northern Italy, which we want to develop.
PROFILE
In its two plants near Bergamo, PM Plastic Materials produces about 320,000 kilometers of electrical installation pipes annually. Just under a third of the production is pre-wired pipes, which are mainly used for power supply, but also for telephony, networks and alarm systems. The pre-wired pipes shorten the installation time for electricians by up to 50 percent, thus offering a cost advantage for new construction and renovation projects. The pipes are supplied to more than 50 countries, with a focus on Sweden, Switzerland and France. Construction standards differ from country to country, as do regulatory requirements. This results in a wide range of technical specifications that require a correspondingly broad, country-specific product range, which no other supplier offers in a comparable breadth.
The roots of the family business reach back to 1907. Today the company employs almost 120 people.
