Profile
BTV Multimedia is a group of trading and service companies that develop, produce and distribute components for the construction of cable and fibre optic networks. The group is one of the few full-service providers on the market: BTV Multimedia offers everything that is required to build, upgrade and operate such infrastructures. This includes, for example, antenna sockets, which are individually developed and produced. The group stocks a wide range of these and other components used by network operators and service companies. The BTV group was founded in Hanover in 1986. In addition to other service and sales locations in Germany, subsidiaries are also maintained in the Netherlands and Taiwan.
4
company acquisitions since the beginning of the investment
Potential for development
With the help of company acquisitions, BTV Multimedia should further broaden its product range and geographical market coverage. This has now been achieved with four company acquisitions: The turnover has more than doubled since the beginning of the investment. Thus, the consolidation of the German reseller market was advanced with the takeover of Anedis Management GmbH, the acquisition of DKT A/S supports the international expansion to Denmark and supplements the product portfolio, particularly in the fibre optic segment. With Fionis GmbH, a fibre-optic system integrator that serves fibre-optic extensions with components as well as planning and installation services, the company was able to expand its market coverage to include Austria and Italy as well as strengthen its competence in the fibre-optic segment and the installation business. Finally, Holm GmbH is a wholesaler of network components.
BTV Multimedia is benefiting from the advancing expansion of broadband networks and will continuously drive forward the strategic and operational measures agreed at the start of the investment. Further company acquisitions are being planned for this purpose.
